Conn's HomePlus® "Finance is not a bad word" Campaign
In 2023, Conn's HomePlus wanted to disrupt with a challenger mindset and they did that with a unapologetically finance forward campaign to connect with its core. I'm so proud to have been a part of this campaign because it has truly been some of the most fun collaborative work I've ever had the chance to work on. I was fortunate to be the lead designer and primary liaison between the agency and our in-house creative team for the “Finance is Not a Bad Word” campaign, driving the development of a cohesive digital experience that seamlessly aligned with our brand theme.
This campaign definitely turned heads and, at times, made us laugh til we cried. Working on this "F-word campaign" has been some of the most fun creative work I've ever been able to do in my career thus far. With this campaign, Conn's developed a new humorous tone of voice, played with double entendres, and helped build brand awareness while educating customers about its number one differentiator as a retailer, its finance and payment options.

Memorial Day Campaign
Conn's HomePlus® Memorial Day Campaign
I developed the campaign style guide for the Memorial Day Sale to be light, fun and an introduction to summer. The holiday needed to feel patriotic and pay respect to the somber nature of this holiday. However, from a consumer stand point, this last weekend in May is usually the first weekend families get a chance to celebrate the end of the school year, the start of summer, and the start to some much needed family time. The softer color palette and fun patriotic patterns and icons reflect that. I also introduced the use of larger hero images with lifestyles that showcase product features or incorporate human interaction as they perform better with our audience.

Coinciding with the tentpole event is the Texas Tax Free Weekend event. I designed the smaller event creative assets to utilize the same colors to be an added layer to the larger sale and blend with the campaign.

Introducing my vibrant 4th of July Sale style guide. This patriotic celebration embraces the spirit of summertime with a twist, steering away from the typical red, white, and blue clichés. Instead, it dazzles with bright and lively colors that embody the essence of the holiday. Featuring fun wavy stripes and whimsical sketched stars, this style guide captures the true essence of a star-spangled holiday in all its "old" glory. Join me in celebrating freedom and fun with this unique and eye-catching style guide.

The All-American Summer Sale was a concept I created to carry on the fun  patriotic summer theme during the non-tentpole between 4th of July and Labor Day.
