The Adventures of Bay & Breezy
Author: Ashley Ronald Nelly  |  Illustrator: Sarah Webster Smith
Sarah partnered with Ashley, a long-time friend, to bring to life the children’s book series, "The Adventures of Bay & Breezy." Ashley and Sarah initially crossed paths in the corporate world. The inaugural book in the series, "Bringing Breezy Home," hit online stores in December 2021, securing its place as a “Top Seller” in its debut week. Furthermore, it earned the distinction of being a Staff Favorite in the Spring 2022 issue of "Modern Dog Magazine." The second book of the series, "Lost in the Zoo," is now available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Entirely crafted from Sarah’s original watercolor work and complemented by Ashley’s lively tales featuring her two real-life dogs, "The Adventures of Bay & Breezy" unfolds as a series of children’s books spotlighting two mischievous Dudley Labrador sisters. Through delightful stories, the series imparts valuable life lessons about family, the joy of exploration, and the importance of maintaining a curious spirit, appealing to both children and the young at heart.

All illustrations are hand drawn and painted with watercolor.

Get lost in a world of watercolor.
As I continue to navigate my artistic journey, my dream remains steadfast – to authentically express myself, create freely without constraints, and bring joy to others through my art. This vision is fueled by my incredible support system: my family and friends who have been steadfast pillars throughout my journey. I hope that as you view and enjoy my work, you experience a sense of warmth, a brief escape, and a connection to nature. Within each piece I create lies a story, an emotion, and a fragment of my own heart and soul.
